Tom Watson has been the talk of the Open first his namesake Tom Lewis an amateur golfer from the area shot the lowest score of the day to place him self on top of the leaderboard (yes, he really was named after Tom Watson). Thomas Levet finally found his win at the Alstom Open de France European Tour. This opened him up to the chance to play the next major the Open Championship.
